Too Short For A Blog III

Romney is coming back I swear, but I got more hours at work, so that is huge. With my recent speeding ticket, car going into the shop, and my taxes due in a month, any penny is needed. Until then, you will just have to settle with some fill-in-with-whatever-is-on-my-mind. Up tonight is Kony, Andy Pettitte's return and the beginning of Santorum's run through the South.

Kony 2012
If you haven't seen the Kony 2012 video, you are so far behind. It came out earlier this week and has gotten over 50 million views. It is about the Ugandan warlord who was the leader of the rebel force trying to overthrow the Ugandan government. Not such a bad guy? Well he would do it by capturing young boys and girls and making soldiers and sex slaves out of them. This video was meant to raise awareness for the citizens of Uganda. What it did instead was make the American public say, "We need to immediately find this guy that has been in hiding for 6 years and bring him to trial! Obamaaaaaa! Help us!" Obama needs to do nothing but watch the documentary with a bucket of popcorn in the White House theater. Enjoy Barack!
Andy Pettitte
Andy Pettitte: Most wins in postseason history and famous Yankee. He retired before last season and just today resigned with the Yankees. I can only pray this goes well. This will give the Yankees a seventh starter that could potentially earn a spot in the rotation. This raises about a thousand questions, but the biggest of which: does this confirm the rumors of Michael Pineda starting the seasons in the minors? This would give him room for growth and hopefully eliminate the second half collapse Pineda suffered last year. This could also turn Freddy Garcia into trade-bait for a double or single A 3-star prospect. There are too many consequences to list here. If I had to sum up the signing in one word: ballsy.
Santorum's Run Through The South
After Romney's Super Tuesday dominance, Rick Santorum has made a run through the South. He has won primaries throughout Kansas and the other Sweater-Vest States. Does this make him a viable candidate for President? Quick answer: No. Longer answer: Hell No. The mid-west has never been a model for the rest of the country and he is just not enough of a mid-ground candidate. His overboard religious views do not match up with the states that you need in the general election: California, New York, Ohio, and Florida. Romney is the only GOP candidate who could garner enough votes to take these states from Obama. So this is a good time for Rick Santorum and let him revel in it, because it will not last. Oh and in other irrelevant news: Gingrich won Georgia.
